February 6, 1945 - July 5, 2024

On the morning of July 5, 2024, Sydney Huston Campbell passed away from natural causes at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX. Sydney was 79 years old.

Sydney was born in 1945 to Sidney and Lelah Huston in Wichita Falls, TX. She spent her childhood in Lovington, NM, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Philip Neer Campbell. They moved to the Madisonville, TX, area in 1969 to raise their four children. Sydney worked for Producers Cooperative Association and Texas A&M University in Bryan/College Station, TX, until her retirement. She moved to Belton, TX, in 2017 to be closer to her children.

Sydney is preceded in death by her father Sidney, her mother Lelah, and her ex-husband Philip. She is survived by her children: Sandi and Wayne Tucker of Salado, TX; John and Lisa Campbell of Johnson City, TX; Kristine (Wilkinson) of Belton, TX; and Kyle and Holle Campbell of Summerland Key, FL; her grandchildren: Brittan and Braxton Tucker and wife, Alex; Kaylin and Kodi Campbell; and Kylar Wilkinson and wife, Jasmine; and several great-grandchildren.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.
