Roland E. Oaks

Roland Oaks was born on April 5, 1962 in Augsburg, Germany to Roland and Karin Oaks.  He died at his home on December 23, 2020 where he had lived since 2006.  As a military dependent, he lived in Germany, Alabama, Georgia and Texas where he finished High School.

Roland was employed as an apartment maintenance super, later switching to the building construction industry.  He was preceded in death by his father in 1992.  He is survived by his mother, Karin Oaks of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania; two sisters residing in Texas and Maryland, nephews, nieces, great-grand nephews and great-grand nieces in Texas and Pennsylvania.

After his cremation on January 15, 2021 a Catholic grave site service will be held on January 20, 2021.  His ashes will be interred next to his Dad at the Salado Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in-lieu-of flowers to your charity of choice.

A rosary and Mass will be prayed at a future date at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
