Services for Roger Neil Barker, 56, of Killeen, will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 15, at Salado United Methodist Church Historic Chapel with Pastor David Mosser officiating.

. Roger died on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at a local hospital.

 He was born on August 27, 1962, in Kingsville, TX, to Joyce Barker and Roger S. Barker. He attended Salado schools, Central Texas College, and received his Master of Education degree from Texas A&M University - Central Texas. He was married to Kerstin Brooks. They have been residents of Killeen for many years. Roger worked for Killeen ISD as a Information Technologist.

Roger loved to fish, travel and enjoy his family.

Survivors include Kerstin Brooks (wife), Joyce Barker (mother), Jonathan Barker (son), Maryah Barker (daughter), Montgomery Scott Barker (son), Dianna Barker (sister) and Randy Barker (brother).  He is proceeded in death his father, Roger S. Barker

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association National Center

A viewing will be held on August 14, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Broecker Funeral Home in Salado
