RC Hill Sr, 84, of Holland passed away Wednesday December 4th in his home surrounded by his family.

There will be a brief graveside service at the Holland Cemetery in Holland, TX. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Mr. Hill was born on April 4, 1929 to Henry J. and Eva Hill in the Sunshine Community, northeast of Holland, TX.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tending to all of his animals, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Elvin (Red) Hill, J. W. (Mutt) hill, Floyd (Dude) Hill, Marvin (Pete) Hill and sister Velma Shaum.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, A. Faye Hill, two sons, R. C. Hill, Jr. and wife Priscilla, Danny Wayne Hill and wife Linda, and daughter Brenda Haverland.

He was Papa to 8 grandchildren, Robert Haverland Jr, Tina Wolf, Anthony Haverland, R. C. Hill III (Trey), Tyler Brooke Hill, JaCee Byrd and husband Matt, Jackie Hill and Mitchell Hill, and 5 great-grandchildren, Tiffany Schneider, Bridget Rubac, Tim Haverland, Reid Cegan Hill and Jaxson Byrd.

He is also survived by his sister Dean Wallace and brother Virgil Hill.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Haverland, Jr., R. C. Hill III (Trey), Mitchell Hill, Matt Byrd, Cole Ramsey, Chip Ralston and Virgil Ray Hill.
