Norma June McDonald, 86, died in a local hospital on April 15, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19th from 6PM to 8 PM at Broecker Funeral Home.

Norma June McDonald went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 15, 2016 in Temple, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew “Tex” McDonald, mother, Maggie McDonald, brother, Andy McDonald, sister, Betty Kirby, nephew, Bobby Moss and niece, Charity Raffaelli.

June was born on May, 29, 1929 in Olney, Texas. She never married, but was very passionate about her family. She lived her life for the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salado where she was a member of the Joy Class. She loved to travel and enjoyed stopping at points of interest along her way.

She is survived by her nephew, Randy (Jackie) Moss, nieces, Becky (Tony) Hampton, Lori (Milton) Jett and Sherril Moss, great nieces and nephews, Christy Moss, Rickey Lummus, Stephanie Reiland, Holly Sheffler, Krystle Moore, Jasmine Wright, Phillip Moss, Ashley Moss and Rachael Jett, plus many great-great nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

She is also survived by special friends Nancy Stow and Glen & June “Too” Gentry. She will also be missed by her roommate Cookie.

Graveside service will be Saturday, May 7th at 10 A. M. at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, in Nash, Texas followed by a memorial service at 1:00 P. M. at Chapel of Light in New Boston, Texas.
