Mary Anne Cox of Salado died on February 12, 2025, at her residence in Salado.  She was 87 years old.  She was born in Groesbeck, TX on August 11, 1937, to Rawls Woodrow King Sr. and Agnes Berta Griese King.  She married Huey Preston Cox on November 19, 1953. The couple had one daughter, Patti Cox Prince of Salado.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Huey; parents; grandson, Charles Brandon Prince; and brother Rawls King Jr.


Mary Anne is survived by her daughter Patti and husband, Cap Prince of Salado; grandchildren: Paige and husband David Hoellen of Salado, and Patrick Prince and wife Lauren of Hurst, TX; great grandchildren: McKenna and Hank Hoellen of Salado and Preston and Lainey Prince of Hurst, TX, brothers: Charles and wife Cathy King of Groesbeck, TX and Jon and LaDena King of Groesbeck, TX.


Broecker Funeral Home of Salado are in charge of the services which include a private family gathering.
