Kimberly Kosh-Ruiz Obituary

Kimberly (Kim) Kosh-Ruiz was born to the late Henry and Mary Kosh, in Bryan, Texas on January 7th, 1975. She grew up in Bryan, Texas attending Bryan High School. Kim later graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Education to then became an elementary school teacher for over 16 years. Kim was a loving Mother, devoted wife, beloved teacher and dear friend to many. Kim was an educator at heart, leaving a lasting impression on the minds and hearts of the students whose lives she touched. Throughout her career, she taught at Nolanville Elementary, Bellaire Elementary, Academy Elementary and finally at Thomas Arnold Elementary School in Salado, Texas.


Kim lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. She was known for her warm smile, eyes as blue as the sky, and infectious laugh. She loved being outdoors, camping and vacationing at some of the best rivers and beaches. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. Kim will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Hector Ruiz; her children: Brooke Guerrero, Britney Guerrero, Brenna Guerrero and son, Grant Ruiz; brothers: Eric Kosh, Kevin Kosh, Kristopher Kosh, and Mike Kosh, plus extended family and friends.


Kim may have left this world, but her love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.


 A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Kimberly Kosh-Ruiz will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bryan, TX on Saturday, November 23rd, at 12:00 pm.  Recitation of the Rosary will precede the Mass at 11:30am.  Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery will follow.
