Services for Joseph Brett Mullins will be held at 2pm Thursday, September 27th at First Baptist Church in Salado. Visitation for family and friends will precede the service at 1:00pm at the church.
Brett was born in Longview, TX, on November 12, 1971. After graduating from Salado High School in 1990 he earned a BS from Mary Hardin-Baylor and began his teaching and coaching career. For the last five years he worked at Bartlett ISD as a biology teacher and was an assistant football coach on his father’s coaching staff.
Brett had trophy deer and fish, but his greatest accomplishments were his two daughters, Sawyer and Sage. He will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Moon Mullins; his grandparents Alene and Don Rainer; and his uncle Gary Rainer.
Brett is survived by his grandmother Mary Jo Mullins; his mother and father Vicki and Joe Mullins; his sister and brother-in-law Jade and Winston Williams and their children Rainer and Holden; and his wife Cheri Mullins and their daughters Sawyer and Sage.
Friends of Brett Mullins have started a trust fund for his daughters Sage and Sawyer Mullins at First State Bank of Central Texas in Salado.
