John Keller Obituary

John Keller, 61, died the 11th of March 2019 at his favorite spot, fish camp, in Riviera, Texas.  His infectious personality is remembered by so many, and the stories about John will be in circulation for years and years to come.  He coached at Saint Stephens School in Austin, Texas, and influenced so many players both on and off the field.  John once said to his own son “baseball is easy, you throw it, you hit it, you catch it.”  He looked at life the same way.  Living life came easy to John.  He never met a stranger, never worried about the details or challenges of life, and kept his focus on the important things, especially his faith and his family.

John was born in April 25, 1956 to Nolan and Joyce Keller in Key West, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brother, James Keller.  He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Kathy Keller, his son and daughter in law, Kevin and Robin Keller, daughter and son in law, Kasey and Sam Smith, and his 4 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Brenda Spiker, several nieces and nephews, and his mother in law, Helen Hays.  As they continue to live, they will continue do so with so many wonderful memories, life lessons, and love of John in their hearts.

Services will be held on March 15th, at First Baptist Church in Georgetown Texas at 2:00.

Services are in the care of Broecker Funeral Home, Salado.
