Jere Lee Fletcher, 71 of Salado, Texas passed away on May 15, 2024. He was born in Greenville, Texas to Looney H. Fletcher and Dorothy Joy Fletcher on April 22,1953. Jere is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Fletcher; sons Jason Catchings and Chad Fletcher; daughter Cortney Fletcher; grandsons Anderson Catchings and Jake Fletcher; and sister Kim Funk. Jere was raised in Copperas Cove most of his life where he graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1971. Jere truly lived life to the fullest through his passion for racing cars, deep sea fishing, bird hunting and shooting sporting clays. He was a man of few words but loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Though our hearts ache at his passing from this world into the next—his memory will live on through each person whose life has been touched by knowing him.
Celebration of Life for Jere will be held at Dead Fish Grill in Belton, Texas on Sunday June 23, 2024 from 3pm-5pm.
