Jay Louie Taylor Obituary

Jay Louie Taylor was born on November 17th, 1943 in Henderson County,
Texas and passed away December 13th, 2024 in Bartlett, Williamson
County, Texas.  He was 81 years of age.

He graduated from La Poynor High School in Poynor, Texas in 1962. He was
a veteran of the Texas National Guard where he held the rank of Sergeant
in the 1st Battalion 112th Armor and Honorably Discharged in 1970 after
six years of service.

He married Lynda Leigh Evans on March 12, 1966 in Frankston, Anderson
County, Texas.  He was a resident of Bartlett, Texas.

He is survived by his only child, a son Jerry Glynn Taylor and
daughter-in-law Farah Taylor residing in Georgetown, Texas, a brother
in-law David Evans and sister-in-law Marion Evans of Salado, Texas a
nephew William (Bill) Taylor and his wife Susan in Hendersonville,
Tennessee and first-cousin Eloise Mullenax of Palestine, Texas

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Lynda Leigh Evans
Taylor, his parents John Clinton Taylor and Tillie Mirilda Berry Taylor,
sister Odell Page Taylor, brothers Earl Ray Taylor and John Clinton
Taylor Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Broecker Funeral Home of Salado,
Texas.  Interment will be in the Poynor Cemetery in Poynor, Texas.
