Services for Hayden Carl Sralla, Jr. will be on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Holland Cemetery, Holland, TX. Officiating is Pastor Linda Marcum.

Hayden Carl Sralla Jr. passed away in Wichita Falls on May 5, 2016. He was born in a farmhouse in Bell County, Texas on June 3, 1946 to Hayden Carl (Fox) Sralla and Sally Lucile Jenkins Sralla. He was the youngest of five siblings and was known by his family as Sonny. Hayden grew up as a farm kid in Central Texas. He was a multi-sport athlete in high school, enjoyed hunting and fishing, being in the country and the value of hard work. As a teenager, he found a strong interest in auto racing and followed many types of racing throughput his life. He went to work in the elevator industry in 1967 and retired in 2005; respected by his customers and competitors in the industry.

On May 11, 1967, Hayden married his high school sweetheart, Peggy Cooper, from Holland, Texas. The couple lived in Dallas and relocated to Wichita Falls in 1975. In 1971, Hayden and Peggy welcomed their only son, Hayden Carl (Trey) Sralla III.

Hayden is preceded in death by his parents and sister Maxine Warren. He is survived by his wife Peggy; son Trey and daughter-in- law, Nikki of Wichita Falls; granddaughter Brittany Sralla of Wichita Falls; grandson Ryan Sralla and wife Kaie of Frisco, TX and granddaughter Lauren Sralla of Frisco, TX; sisters Ruby Fault, and Betty Noble of Sanger, TX and Jean Havran of Jacksonville, TX plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to Beverly Drive UMC or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
