Gordon Howarth Doudt

Graveside services for Gordon Howarth Doudt, age 72, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Salado Cemetery with Jakie Shirley officiating.

Gordon passed away peacefully at Porta Caeli Hospice House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He was born in Newark, New Jersey, on May 6, 1950, to Vernon Charles Doudt and Dorothy Lorraine (Downs) Doudt.  He attended Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas.  After high school, Gordon spent most of his life as a carpenter and working in a metal-plating shop, although eh had a variety of jobs throughout his life, one of which was as a nanny.

Gordon had a difficult life, but had a soft heart, and was generous and encouraging to others.  Later in his life, he found salvation in Jesus Christ. 

He is preceded by his parents and younger brother Kenneth Rice Doudt.  He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Suzanne Hamilton and granddaughter Lilyauna Hamilton, both of Sherwood, Arkansas, and his sister, Deborah Lee Harrison and brother-in-law, Ronald Glenn Harrison, both of Salado, Texas.
