Glenda Joyce Gray

Glenda died on Monday, April 19, 2021 after a short illness.  She was born on April 27, 1942, the third of four daughters of Robert Leland Gray and Beula Huckabee Gray, lifetime residents of Holland, Texas.  Glenda was a graduate of Holland High School and Mary Hardin Baylor University with a degree in home economics education.  Upon receipt of her degree she began work as homemaking teacher in the Rosebud-Lott Independent School District where she remained employed until her retirement.  She had resided in Lott since the early 1980s.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and two older sisters, Dortha Jean Potts, of Belton, Texas, and Frances Marie Gray of Port Lavaca.  She is survived by a younger sister, Nancy Gray Curb, and nephews Robert Roy and John Potts and Bill and Bob Curb and nieces Patty Potts Wilson and Pamela Curb Stephens as well as several grand nephews and nieces.

She will be interred in the Gray family plot in Holland under the auspices of Broecker Funeral Home of Salado.  Due to the covid pandemic, there will be no viewing and only family-attended graveside services.
