George Mildrum Walls, 72, of Temple will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 18 at the Presbyterian Church of Salado with Rev. Carl Thompson officiating. Full military honors will be presented at the church. George passed away March 25, 2015 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Texas City, TX February 18, 1943 to James R. and Williamina F. Walls. He graduated from Memphis State University with a degree in sales and marketing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1965-1968. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Throughout his life he had many interests. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was passionate about sailing on his boat and gardening. He is survived by his brothers James W. Walls of Salado, and John F. Walls of Temple.
