Dwayne William Cook, age 2, received his angel wings on January 26, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Dwayne was born on March 11, 2020, in Killeen, Texas to his parents, Megan and David Cook.
Dwayne had a smile that was infectious and had a personality that was destined to be huge. He was curious, adventurous, funny, and loving. Dwayne had a special morning routine with his mommy where he would knock on her door and always say "you ready, you ready." Dwayne's most recent favorite phrase was "I did it!" He would say it every time he helped his mommy buckle himself into his car seat and say it every time, he accomplished a task. Dwayne loved watching his favorite cartoons (Cocomelon, Toy Story, and Minions) while eating his favorite snack (Funyun chips) in his own personal kid sized recliner. He loved animals, especially dogs, cats, and fish. Most of all, Dwayne loved spending time with his family and playing with his cousins, Addison and Britten. His soul was beautiful and pure.
Although Dwayne's time in this world was brief, the imprint he leaves behind is everlasting. The light that Dwayne brought into this world will continue to shine down on all the lives he touched. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. Dwayne will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
