Dora Mae (Kelley) Parsons

Loving wife ,mother and grandmother 

Passed away peacefully 1/5/24

 

She was born 12/13/1933 the oldest of 4 children in Edinburg Tx to Edwin and Faye ( McClanahan) Kelley. 

 

She graduated from Edinburg High School in 1952 were she lettered in Tennis and was Homecoming queen. 

 

She married William ( Bill ) Parsons in Edinburg Tx on Oct 31st 1955, were they spent 40 yrs together until his passing in 1995. 

 

She was proceeded in death by her husband Bill Parsons , infant daughter Debra Ann Parsons , parents Edwin and Faye Kelley , sister Jo Ann ( Kelley) Brown , brother Pat Kelley , niece Charlene (Kelley) Cowart and brother in law Russell Parsons 

 

She is survived by a son Dwayne Parsons of Salado Tx , grandaughter Lana Jo Parsons of Temple Tx , grandson Garrett Parsons of Salado Tx , brother Mike Kelley and sister in law Mary Kelley of Bastrop Tx , Nieces Amanda (Kelley )Mouton of Jarrell Tx , Sherri ( Kelley ) Garber of Houston Tx Connie (Parsons ) Simpson of Summit Miss and Kathy (Parsons ) McEwen of Hillsboro Tx. Nephews Shawn Kelley of Victoria Tx and Casey Kelley of Waco Tx.
