DONNA S. (SCHUSTER) PFEIFFER


Donna Schuster Pfeiffer, age 81, passed peacefully from this life on May 20, 2025, at the Scott & White Hospital Hospice Unit, Temple, Texas after a lengthy illness.


She was born on September 11, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary (Henderson) Schuster. She was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, & friend. Donna enjoyed a good margarita, George Strait, traveling, beach trips, shopping trips, reality tv, and most importantly family get togethers at the farm watching everyone sing, dance, laugh and enjoyed the good food, sharing stories and watching her favorite fireworks displays.


Donna was married to the love of her life, on September 9, 1966, to the late L. Thomas Pfeiffer, together they shared 57 wonderful years. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.


She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three children; Lisa (Tom) McElhaney of Florence, Texas, Tony (Shonda) Pfeiffer of Bullard, Texas, and Steven (Andrea) Pfeiffer of Cincinnati, Ohio, ten grandchildren; Dillon (Carrie) Moorman of Killeen, Texas, Danielle Bocanegra of Killeen, Texas, Aaron (Niya) Moorman of Florence, Texas, Amy (Doug) Raven of Sequin, Texas, Cheyenne (Alyssa) Pfeiffer of Tyler, Texas, Elizabeth Pfeiffer of Celina, Ohio, Jenna (Tanner) Smith of Bullard, Texas, Austin Pfeiffer of Athens, Georgia, Ethan (Kendall) Pfeiffer of Greenville, Texas, and Alexis Pfeiffer of Cincinnati, Ohio. Sixteen Great-Grandchildren; McKenna, Shane, & Luke Moorman of Killeen, Texas, Miyley Lockhart, Riggin and Kashley Bocanegra of Killeen, Texas, Stetson Litton, Landon and Asher Moorman of Florence, Texas, Shelby and Everleigh Raven of Sequin, Texas, Skylar Spradlin of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ezekiel Pfeiffer of Villa Rica, Georgia, and Raelynn Pfeiffer of Greenville, Texas, Lilliana and Liam Smith of Bullard, Texas, two brothers; Woodrow (Cindy) Schuster of Union, Kentucky and John (Karen) Schuster of Cincinnati, Ohio, nieces; Sarah Schuster and family and Katie Schuster both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and nephew; John (Katie) Schuster and family, special-extended family Edie and the late William Vandervelde of Amelia, Ohio, Danielle (Brandon) Thompson of Bardstown, Kentucky and William (Andie Molony) Vandervelde of Newport, Kentucky, and many cousins.


She was proceeded in death by her devoted husband, L. Thomas Pfeiffer, her parents Woodrow and Mary (Henderson) Schuster, a son, Jeffrey A. Pfeiffer and brother, David L. Schuster.


A graveside memorial is being planned for July 26, 2025, at the Norris Cemetery, Sievers Road, in Nancy Kentucky.
