Services for Dennis Craig Risinger will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church 210 East 24th Street, Belton at 11:00 AM with Reverend John Kim, presiding. Dennis died on Monday, April 6, 2015 in a hospice facility in Waco; he was 74. Born to James Edward and Loyce Keeter Risinger on August 5, 1940 in McAllen, Texas, he attended North Texas State University and graduated with a BAA degree. Dennis was in Commercial Real Estate before becoming a private pilot in 1978. He married Jacqueline Estelle Pennington in 1986 and worked as a pilot and flight instructor for American Eagle Airlines in Dallas/Ft. Worth. While traveling to San Miguel, Mexico, Dennis saw the needs of the children and in 2006 founded a non-profit charity "Gift of English" providing English language education for orphans and other deserving children in Mexico which continues today. Dennis was also a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. He is survived by his wife; two step-sons, James Bradley Pennington and Douglas Ray Pennington, both of Belton; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
