Services for Janice “Deanne” Goen, 63, of Taylor will be at 4pm, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Church of Christ in Salado. Deanne died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Scott & White in Round Rock after a short three month battle with cancer.
She was born in Leonard, TX on April 28, 1951 to LD and Annie Lou Woods.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include husband Donald Goen of Taylor, daughter Christy McDaniel and husband Allen of Salado, son Walt Dickey and wife Ursula of Harker Heights, grandchildren Sam Dickey, Danielle McDaniel, Dillon McDaniel and Kai, Shane and Katie, brother Howard Woods and wife Ruby of Lubbock, sister Dorothy Collins and husband Charles of Lake George, CO, and brother Doyce Woods and wife Carolyn of Shallowater. She had numerous nieces and nephews and a number of step-children and step-grandchildren. She was full of life and loved by many.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, August 6, at the funeral home.
