Memorial service for Craig Brian Speich, 67 of Salado, TX will be 5pm, 10/15 at Broecker Funeral Home

Prayer service will be 6pm, October 27 th at Milnor Lutheran Church in Milnor, North Dakota with Pastor
Adam Franken officiating. Funeral Service will be 2pm, October 28 th at Faith Assembly of God in Lisbon,
North Dakota with Pastor Kevin Zaun officiating.
Craig died Thursday, October 12 th 2023 at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Temple, TX,
surrounded by his family. He was born March 30 th , 1956 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Orval and Elinor
Speich.
He attended DeLamere Elementary, Milnor Public School and North Dakota State University graduating
from Milnor Public School in 1974. He married Wanda Kay Jones on March 1 st , 1980. They resided in
DeLamere, North Dakota where Craig farmed with his Dad, Orval, Uncle Clarence and Brother Bruce. His
Nephews Tyler and Kyle would later join the family farm. Craig served his community on the Hall
Township Board, Wyndmere Elevator Board, DeLamere Hall Board, DeLamere Centennial Committee
and North Dakota Corn Growers Association. He was raised attending Milnor Lutheran Church and later
would join Faith Assembly of God in Lisbon, ND and Hope Assembly of God in Forman, ND. Craig retired
from farming and moved to Groton, South Dakota in 2011. Craig and Wanda moved to Salado, Texas
next door to their oldest Daughter Katie in 2019.
Survivors include, his wife Wanda (Jones) Speich, his daughters Katie (Aaron) Crane (children Chloe and
Callen), Betsy (Jeff) Harry (children Keegan, Reagen and Madison), Jenna (Adam) Franken (children
Danielle and Hannah), Alisen (A.J.) Clark (children Alexandra and Andrew), his Second Mother Jeanne
(Orval) Speich, his siblings Gary (Jane) Speich, Cheryl (Kim) Foell, Bruce (Dayna) Speich, Brother in-law
Doug (Idette) Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by His Mother and Father, his Uncle Allen Olsen, Uncle Clarence Speich,
Brother in-law Steve Jones, Brother in-law Kim Foell and Niece Amy Foell Harbaugh.

Memorial funds will be donated to Amy Foell Harbaugh Scholarship Fund and Hefer International.
Arrangements in Texas are being handled by Broecker Funeral of Salado.
Arrangements in North Dakota are being handled by Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Milnor.
