He was recruited by a leading chemical company, Hercules Chemical, to go to Houston where he started his technical sales career. After a few years in the sun Bruce decided to stay in the south, moving to Dallas where he met and married Becky and raised two boys.

Bruce was very proud to be a professional engineer. His career involved working in engineering and public works for the cities of Sherman, San Angelo, Killeen and Temple, Texas. He retired from the city of Temple.

Bruce loved playing golf, watching football games, coaching soccer and football for the children and laughing with his family and friends. He especially loved living in Salado and attending Salado United Methodist Church.

Bruce is preceded by his mother and father. He is succeeded by his wife, and 2 boys, Jason and Brian, and daughter- in- law Heather.
