Beulah Frances Spragg Obituary

Beulah Frances Spragg, 70, of Temple, TX, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at a hospital in Temple.


She was born on April 27, 1955, to James Jefferson Watson and Thelma Mae Byers Watson of Wellsville, Ohio and was a 1973 graduate of East Liverpool High School.  


She married Larry Spragg on February 29, 1992 


She began her restaurant career when she was 15 years old.  Later she managed Harold’s Inn in Hopewell, PA.  After moving to Texas in 2003, she managed various restaurants including Cheeves Brothers Steakhouse, and the Barton House of Salado.


She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.


She is survived by her children: Melissa Hejl of Temple, TX, Michael Hughes of Winter Park, Florida, and two stepchildren: Terry Spragg of Temple  Tx and Chuck Spragg of East Liverpool, Ohio; sister, Darlene Johnson of Calcutta, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.


A celebration will be on August 2, 2025, at the Dead Fish Grill in Belton, TX at 4:00 pm.
