Alvin D. Agan

Alvin D. Agan, age 87, passed away on June 17, 2019.  Alvin was born and raised in Shamrock, Texas.  He was born on July 6, 1931.  He and his wife Peggy have lived in Salado, Texas for several years.  He attended college and graduated from West Texas A&M in 1951. He began his career with Celanese Chemical Company in Pampa, Texas until his retirement after 41 years in 1994.  Alvin is survived by his wife, Peggy Agan of Salado.  In February of 2019, they celebrated 68 years of marriage.  Alvin was a member of the Salado Church of Christ.  Alvin is survived by his son John Agan (Ellen) of Temple, Texas and son, Jim Agan (Jill) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Four grandchildren, Lance Agan (Kayla), Reid Agan, Payton Agan (Lexie) and Paige McMorries (Stephen).  He is survived by five great grandchildren, Nora, Zoe and Sena Agan, Andie Agan and Miles McMorries. 

Services for Mr. Agan are Thursday, June 20, 2019 with a visitation at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of LIfe ceremony at 11:00 AM in the Salado Church of Christ, 217 N. Stagecoach Road, Salado, Texas 76571.
