Albert Wujcik Obituary

Albert Joseph Wujcik passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Salado, Texas on November 7th, 2022. Albert was born in Donora, Pennsylvania on June 20th, 1931, to Caroline (Bielek) and Mike Wujcik. He was raised in Pennsylvania until the time he enlisted into the Navy in 1950. Albert honorably served his country in active duty until 1955. He then began working for Island Creek Coal Company in which he trained to become a pilot. Albert’s love for aviation grew which would take him and his family throughout the country, ultimately leading to his retirement in Salado, Texas.

Albert had a passion to help others quickly becoming the town handy man and antique connoisseur. He will be remembered for his generosity and his fiery spirit. Albert was proceeded in death by his wife Helen (Praskovich), son Douglas Keith Wujcik, his parents, and siblings.

Albert is survived by his children Mary Johnson of Ohio, Bruce (Deb) Wujcik of Tennessee, and Laurie Moore of Texas along with his three grandchildren Trisha Wujcik, Rachel (Anthony) Morrell, Vanessa (Adam) Frazier, and four great grandchildren.

Private services will be held.
