Winifred L. Palmer

Winifred L. Palmer passed onto our Lord on January 11, 2019.  She was born in Purvis Mississippi in Lamar County, to Ezell and Annie Lou Fowler, on October 12, 1933.  She attended Purvis High School and Mississippi State College for Women.  She has been a resident of Salado, TX for the last 20 yrs.  Winn was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Salado and was a long standing member of the Bible study group at the church.  She was a volunteer at Salado Public Library and Hope Pregnancy Center.  She is survived by a son, Harry R. Palmer III and his wife Donna of Allentown, PA, daughter GeorgeAnn Valentine and her husband John of Salado Texas, grandchildren Corey Palmer, Genevieve Herrera of Pennsylvania,  Palmer Valentine of Houston, TX, and five great-grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her family.
