Services for Charles Boston will be in Belle Plains Cemetery, Salado. The service will be private. A memorial service will be held at Menger Springs Senior Living Community, 1100 Grand Boulevard, Boerne, TX on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 2PM. A reception will follow.

Charles Boston died on Friday, March 10, 2017 in San Antonio, TX.  He was born in Shamrock, TX on November 12, 1928 to PT and Myrtle Belle Boston.  Charles graduated Shamrock High School in 1945 and from West Texas State University in 1949.  He served as a military training officer in the OCS of the Air Force during the Korean War. Charles graduated from the University of Texas Law School with honors in 1956 and served as Case notes Editor of the Texas Law Review. He was inducted into membership in the law school honor society, Chancellor, Order of the Coif and Phi Delta Phi. He practiced law with Fulbright and Jaworski in Houston where he became a senior partner. He was a member of the Bar Association in Houston; Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Association of Insurance Attorneys. Active in civic organizations, Charles served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher; a member of the Board of Trusties of the College of Biblical Studies in Houston; Board member of the Cystic Fibrosis Assoc., and Southeast Texas Regional section of the American Lung Assoc.  He was a member of the Houston Rotary Club, charter member of Champions Golf Club and Houston Racquet Club.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, June Wimberly Boston; son Donn Charles Boston and daughter Wimberly Ann Grove; one grandson; two great grandchildren and numerous family members.
